Ariella Goodwine Fisher, MFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
About Ariella
Ariella has a private practice specializing in divorce and custody related issues. In addition to being a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Ariella holds a certificate in Child and Family Forensics from William James College in Massachusetts.
Ariella’s role as a Divorce Coach is to help you manage the pain and strain of changing relationships, while focusing on goals for the present and the future. Working with you to make the most of your strengths, Ariella will assist you in being at your best during the divorce process and in taking positive steps toward a new life.
Children may suffer most from divorce and be least able to understand or express their feelings. Their world is being turned upside down in ways that they cannot begin to comprehend. Communication with parents may be difficult, if not impossible. A goal of Collaborative Practice is to assure that children are a priority, not a casualty. As your Child Specialist, Ariella will meet with your children to assist them in expressing their feelings and concerns about the divorce. After meeting with your children, Ariella will summarize their feelings, hopes and concerns and present them to you and your team in the context of their age and stage of development so that you can consider this information when planning for the children’s lives post divorce.
