Anne Hagan, Esq.

Anne Hagan is a Founding Partner of Canter Hagan LLP, a family law firm in San Mateo. Anne has been practicing law in California for nearly two decades. Since 2021, Anne has focused her practice on mediation and consulting with clients through mediation. She also works with clients to create pre-marital and post-marital agreements. Anne trained as a Collaborative attorney in early 2023 and believes this model of dispute resolution represents a unique, solution-oriented approach based on understanding, empowerment, and sincerity of purpose. For the first 17 years of her legal career, Anne was a litigator and she now draws from her extensive experience in Court and thorough knowledge of the law to facilitate resolution of a variety of family law conflicts.

Anne served for many years on the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Collaborative Practice San Mateo County, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and San Mateo County Bar Association. Anne received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, and her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law.
