Lisa R. Murray, JD

Lisa R. Murray, is a family law attorney and owner of Chase, Berenstein & Murray. Ms. Murray is licensed in California and Hawaii, and has practiced law since 1987 and family law since 1989. Ms. Murray devotes her practice equally among family law mediation, Collaborative Practice, and negotiated settlement. Her focus is on helping clients resolve family disputes amicably and equitably, especially when children are involved. In her Collaborative Practice, Ms. Murray practices the full team model, where spouses can develop open communication and resolve their disputes without going to court. Ms. Murray was awarded to Eureka Award by Collaborative Practice California for her work in forwarding Collaborative Practice as a method Alternative Dispute Resolution. She has been named a Northern California “Super Lawyer” every year since 2006. Ms. Murray is a member of the Collaborative Practice groups in San Mateo and San Francisco Counties, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Ms. Murray earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University and her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
