Valerie Sher, Ph.D.

Valerie Sher, PhD is a Licensed Psychologist and Educator with specialties in the areas of relationships, couples therapy, sexuality, coparenting, navigating divorce, family therapy, and trauma. She is in private practice in Redwood City. She has been affiliated with numerous bay area couple’s groups including The Couples Center in San Francisco and Connect2 in Palo Alto. She is also a Divorce Coach with the Naked Divorce Emotional Freedom program. Dr. Sher has worked as an educator/Adjunct Faculty at The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now Sofia University), JFK University, and Sonoma State University. She has provided supervision and in-service training at various community and private mental health clinics.
